The Australian Animal Studies Group (AASG) represents a community of animal studies scholars, scientists, creative artists and animal advocates. They aim to encourage cross-national and disciplinary exchange and, more particularly, to promote work that has animals and human-animal relations as a focus.

World Aquaculture Adelaide 2014 will bring together research, industry know-how and the latest technological advances, to provide a forum for the international aquaculture community to exchange innovative ideas and debate the issues and opportunities of how aquaculture can best meet the growing global demand for seafood.
WAA14 will focus on the theme 'Create, Nurture, Grow' and will also incorporate the biennial Australasian Aquaculture conference and trade show.
