Print This Page Angola Government Turns Towards Sustainability
ANGOLA - The Angolan Government recently approved new measures to better manage marine and aquaculture industries. The measures are aimed at the sustainable preservation of biological resources.
According to the AngolaPress, these measures aim at adjusting catch capacity to sustainable limits, whilst monitoring the use of equipment suitable for boats, says a communiqué of the fifth extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet Council.
According to the document, these provisions also plan to create no-fishing periods in specific areas throughout the year.
