Rafferty Takes Role of COO at Cermaq
Previously farming in Cermaq has been structured in two farming divisions, Mainstream Europe and Americas, under separate COOs. Organizing the global farming operations in Mainstream under one COO responsible will increase best practice exchange and produce synergies between the farming units.
"Steven Rafferty has broad international farming experience having previously worked in various of the main salmon producing countries, including seven years in Chile," says Cermaq. "Rafferty will continue to work out of the head office in Oslo, Norway."
"Rafferty will combine his role of CFO with that of the COO until a replacement CFO is in place. Until a new CFO is appointed, Tarald Sivertsen will continue in his current position as Mainstream Europe COO and member of the Cermaq management team, but reporting to Steven Rafferty."
