IRELAND - The Federation of Irish Fishermen is hosting a Seminar on behalf of everyone associated with the Irish fishing industry on Friday, 9 October 2009 in the Radisson Hotel, Dublin Airport.
The seminar will provide an opportunity for participants to contribute to a coherent and constructive response to the recent Green Paper on Common Fisheries Policy reform.
This workshop-style event has been designed around a morning series of presentation by prominent industry leaders, both Irish and other major European fishing nations, scientists, regulators and support agencies, including Dr. Reinhard Priebe for DGMARE, to be followed by a full afternoon’s session of discussion and conclusion by the Irish stakeholders.
The conference is supported by Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), the Irish Sea Fisheries Board.
