Cambodian Officials Study Aquaculture in Viet Nam

VIET NAM - A Cambodian government delegation is currently visiting Viet Nam on a fact-finding mission.

A Cambodian government delegation of nine high-level fisheries officials are due to make a working trip in southern Vietnam for the next five days to gain knowledge and experience exchanges on aquaculture.

Mr Nao Thuok, general director of the Fisheries Administration, Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, also advisor to Prime Minister Hun Sen, leads the delegation.

The Cambodian officials will meet with representatives of Ho Chi Minh City-based Research Institute of Aquaculture No.2, which plays an important role in the fisheries sector in southern Vietnam.

The mission we will be visiting fisheries facilities in the provinces of Tien Giang, Ben Tre and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, which houses many farmers breeding catfish, tilapia, shrimps and prawns.
