Print This Page CMFRI Course in Fish Entrepreneurship
INDIA - India's Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute recently organised a 10 day national training programme for middle level fisheries officers and fisheries agencies in seven states - West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala Karnataka and Maharashtra.
The course gave hands on experience on marine ornamental fish culture techniques.
The of the course was to promote small-scale entrepreneurship in marine fish trade and culture according to a report in Indopia.
Apart from the Aquaculture Foundation, several marine product development agencies also took part in the programme.
The National Fisheries Development Board sponsored the training course.
