Humber Seafood Summit A Success

UK - The new conference which took place in Grimbsy last week explored the challenges faced by the fishing and seafood industry in managing a sustainable future for the long term.

The Humber Seafood Summit brought together a panel of respected industry speakers, NGOs and delegates from across Europe to debate topics on the theme: ‘Sustaining our Future from Sea to Plate.’ It was hosted by the Humber Seafood Institute with the support of Young’s Seafood/Findus Group and Yorkshire Forward.

Nearly 100 delegates listened and debated topics presented by representatives of the fishing industry, aquaculture, NGO’s, manufacturers and retailers.
