New Procedure For Vet Drug Imports
The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance has announced that, from 2 August 2010, permits for import of drugs for animals to the Russian Federation will be issued using the Automated Integrated System ARGUS. After the implementation of the appropriate section of ARGUS permits for export of drugs for animals from the Russian Federation will also be issued using this system.
These permits will be accessible in a special subsystem of ARGUS for the officials working in the Territorial Administrations of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Veterinary Authorities of the Russian Federation, and for other users concerned.
It is necessary to ensure that the records concerning consignments under surveillance are kept in points of entry and exit using ARGUS logs.
