Private Aquaculture Research Unit Opens

VIET NAM - The Binh An Aquaculture Research Institute, the first private research institute of its kind in Viet Nam, has opened in Can Tho City.

It will also build long-term strategic marketing plans for the aquaculture sector, develop distribution chains, especially in foreign markets, build advanced management models, and create value chains for aquatic products.

In addition, the institute will help businesses and breeders develop e-commerce and apply advanced technologies, contributing to the sustainable development of the sector.

The Ministry of Science and Technology has given the private institute VN$2.5 billion for staff training, consultancy services, and technology transfer.
