Aquamar International Bicentennial 2010

MEXICO - AQUAMAR Internacional "Bicentenario 2010" will be held from 1st to 4th September, in Campech'e XXI Convention Centre in the city of San Francisco de Campeche, Mexico. Good attendance of producers and entrepreneurs is expected, as well as different Latin American Delegations.

The trade show is an opportunity for producers, researchers, investors, academics, and all aquaculture entrepreneurs meet many potential customers face-to-face in a brief period of time inexpensively.

Seven workshops will be held on subjects such as seafood and fishery marketing in Mexico, optimisation of resources in aquaculture, health and safety topics and sustainable fisheries and certification.

Dr Ángel Rivera, Chief Executive and Ramón Corral Ávila, General Manager from CONAPESCA will present keynote topics throughout the conference on climate change, responsible fishing, social responsibility, combatting famine, subsidies and alternative energy.

Sessions will be moderated by facilitators who will bring a practical frame of reference and timely expert advice. They will focus on helping companies develop international business strategies to access foreign markets and generate growth opportunities for small and medium sized companies.

They also will allow the entrepreneurs ask and give opinion about the national and international policies.
