Cermaq Appoints Temporary CEO

Post-harvest

NORWAY - CFO Tore Valderhaug has been appointed as Acting CEO of Cermaq ASA effective from 25 July until a new CEO is in place.

Cermaqs Board of Directors has initiated the search for a new CEO of the company, following the resignation of Geir Isaksen who will take up the position as CEO of NSB, Norways largest transport group.

The Board considers it to be unlikely that a new CEO will be appointed before the end of Geir Isaksens period of notice.

Consequently the Board has appointed CFO Tore Valderhaug as Acting CEO of Cermaq ASA effective from 25 July until a new CEO is in place. Tore Valderhaug will at the same time maintain his position as CFO of the company.

Geir Isaksen will be available for the company until end of August 2011, and in period contribute to a successful transition to the acting CEO. He will take up his new position as CEO of NSB as of the first of September 2011.
