BlackSeaGrain reports that, according to a respective government resolution, the estimated amount of funding for the programme is UAH 2.5 billion, including UAH 1.6 billion as state budget funds, and UAH 907.27 million from other sources.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the implementation of the programme in full will help bring the total production of living aquatic resources to 375,000 tons per year, increasing the commercial production of valuable fish species by 80,000 tons per year.
In addition, it is expected that up to 5,000 new jobs will be created through the programme.
