Sagarpa Promotes Fisheries & Aquaculture Research

MEXICO - The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) will give a strong boost to fisheries and aquaculture research this year. Through the National Fisheries Institute (INAPESCA), the research will be exercised over a budget of 710.5 million pesos, 362 per cent higher than in 2006 and 58 per cent greater than the resources executed in 2011.
