Dolav Goes to Aquaculture UK 201204 April 2012
SCOTLAND, UK - New to exhibiting at Aquaculture UK 2012 is Dolav Direct UK, a manufacturer of food-grade plastic pallet boxes widely used in aquaculture and the fish industries in Scotland and around the world.
Although Dolav is new to the show, its plastic pallet boxes are well known to show visitors. Many Dolavs in Scotland have been at work in aquaculture for decades. Weights of up to 900Kg are easily handled by each Dolav which stack to a bottom load of 5000Kg. With ice, models with drain holes allow water to escape and perforated models quickly drain water off a catch.
As this will be the first time that Dolav has exhibited at Aquaculture it hopes to attract the interest and attention of fish farmers, fishermen and seafood processors attending the event. Dolav has been producing and supplying plastic pallet boxes for over 30 years. They are used through many industrial, commercial and food production sectors, and importantly throughout the seafood industry. Amongst the products on display will be the robust and newest addition to the Dolav range, the Dolav 1000 Ace box pallet.
UK general manager, Maria Plastow, said: “We are looking forward to Aquaculture UK 2012 and meeting current and new customers and users. We want to hear from them about what they need from a box pallet and showing them how our single-one-piece-moulded, three-runner, Dolav 1000 Ace fits the bill for the demanding requirements of the shellfish and fish farmers.”
