SWEDEN - A new point system for fishermen who violate the rules will be introduced in Sweden.

The Government has submitted a bill on the introduction of the system to parliament.

The point system will show up repeat violaters. In case of repeated serious violations, the commercial fishing license and vessel license will be revoked. Commanders may also be prohibited from working on fishing vessels.
