This study will be performed by the Instituto del Mar del Peru (IMARPE) under the name "Cruise Resource Assessment hake and other demersal species", and will last for 35 days.
There will also be participation from a ship of the commercial fleet during the course of the investigation, which also transport IMARPE personnel.
It is important to note that the information obtained from the commercial fleet is only for reference.
Hake Assessment on Peruvian Coast Begins
PERU - The Ministry of Production (PRODUCE) has announced that an assessment of hake along Peru's coastline has begun. The study will determine the current biomass of the species.
