The outbreak was reported at Lilla Edet, Vstra Gtalands ln, on a closed freshwater farm.
Of 37 Koi carp susceptible, there were 12 cases leading to 12 deaths and 25 destroyed.
The morbidity and mortality levels stand at 32 per cent.
The source of the outbreak is still unknown and all movement has been prohibited.
