Farmers Receive Technical Assistance from MAGAP03 July 2012
ECUADOR - The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Aquaculture and Fisheries (MAGAP), through the Secretariat of Aquaculture will be delivering equiptment to help diversity and improve production.
These tools will support the development of tilapia fish farming, conducting sampling and analysis of power calculations.
In two weeks, the Secretariat of Aquaculture will provide 2,000 fingerlings to each beneficiary, in order to start with the planting.
Aquaculture rural communities now have access to food production systems of high quality protein, ensuring food security and reducing malnutrition in rural populations.
