India Amends Guidelines for White Leg Shrimp Imports

INDIA - The Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of India has amended guidelines regulating quarantine for the import of Litopenaeus vannamei (White Leg Shrimp).

Under the amendment, Indian imports of Litopenaeus vannamei brood stock will no longer be subject to a pre-quarantine test for Baculovirus penaei.

The amendment has not yet been notified to the World Trade Organisation.
