Applications for Fisheries and Aquaculture Sections

10 August 2012

MALTA - The intermediate body of the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs is receiving applications from micro, small and medium sized enterprises interested in applying for projects which are directly related to the fisheries and aquaculture sectors in Malta.

Applicants must be primarily engaged in an economic activity, irrespective of its legal form, including in particular: self employed persons, family businesses engaged in craft or other activities and partnerships or associations regularly engaged in an economic activity, reports MaltaIndependent.

This Axis is divided into three measures, each targeting different types of investments in this sector. Interested applicants may apply under one or more of these measures: productive investments in aquaculture; aqua-environmental measures; and investments in processing and marketing.

Those interested in obtaining more information should refer to the MRRA website at http://vafd.gov.mt/home.

Information may also be obtained by contacting Christopher Lawrence Francalanza on tel. 2292 7844 from 7:30am till 1:30pm.
