The exposition - the only seafood trade event of its kind in Hong Kong - will continue through Thursday, 13 September.

"Our organisation and event partners are excited to commence the third edition of the Asian Seafood Exposition," said Mary Larkin, Group Vice President and Publisher at Diversified Business Communications, the company that produces the Asian Seafood Exposition featuring Frozen Food Asia.

"Consumer demand for fish and seafood is soaring in China and the Asia-Pacific region, and the Asian Seafood Exposition is the gateway to this important and lucrative seafood market," said Ms Larkin.

The Asian Seafood Exposition showcases exhibitors that supply fresh, frozen, and processed fish and seafood. Attending buyers include top buying executives from restaurant, supermarket, hotel, catering, and other high-volume retail, wholesale, and food-service categories.

This year's Asian Seafood Exposition features Frozen Food Asia a new forum for buyers to meet face to face with suppliers of frozen food in several categories including fish, seafood, vegetables, fruit, bakery products, desserts, and more.

The exposition's three-day schedule also includes several culinary demonstrations, educational conferences, and special events including tonight's Welcome Cocktail Reception event organizers present in partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Board and Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong in the Presentation Theatre located at stand #5-744.
