SPAIN - At the Sector Conference on Fisheries, held at the headquarters of the Department under the chairmanship of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Miguel Arias Cañete, the distribution of €6,075,067.45 between regions was agreed.

Of these funds, €3,566,857.45 has been distributed in order to balance the contributions of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment Co-financing for the European Fisheries Fund, and the commitments of the Autonomous Communities.

The regional distribution is as follows:

• Andalusia - € 2,382,034.27
• Cantabria - € 118,860.62
• Valencia - € 1,065,962.56
• TOTAL - € 3,566,857.45

Finally, €508,210 were distributed between regions within the line of action of Mariculture National Plans, as agreed by the National Advisory Board for Mariculture (JACUMAR).
