The visit by the health authorities of Brazil was carried out with the aim of finding and opening new markets for the commercialisation of Argentinian shrimp.

Ministers discussed issues related to sanitation, capture, consistency of meat and flavour.

Mr Yahuar said the idea of the visit was to show how the process of frozen shrimp takes place on land.

In addition to the commercial nature of the visit, professionals from both countries discussed the possibility of advancing the development of exchange activities in the control of fishery products and aquaculture products, especially tilapia and shellfish.
