Aquaculture Europe 2013 - Abstract Submission

GLOBAL, NORWAY - The European Aquaculture Society (EAS) has announced that information concerning this years Aquaculture Europe 2013 is now online and general information on the event can now be seen.

The AE2013 theme - Making Sense of Science - will focus on knowledge management to support technological development and innovation. Making sense of science implies setting priorities for knowledge generation; using the best people and infrastructure to create the knowledge and using the most suitable communication channels to ensure maximum impact of the results for all the different players in the value chain as well as for the end users.

The AE2013 Plenary sessions will provide delegates of concrete examples in various sectors and submission of abstracts for the parallel sessions will focus on how the knowledge generated will impact the sector. AE2013 will target all persons and institutions engaged and/or interested in aquaculture.

AE2013 will be held in Trondheim, Norway from August 9-12, 2013 and just prior to the AQUA NOR 2013 Exhibition (August 13-16, 2013).

Abstract submission: The AE2013 brochure contains the full list of sessions that are open for abstract submission. The EAS encourages the submission of high quality oral and poster presentations and these may be submitted ONLINE. Detailed guidelines for abstract preparation are also provided in the online submission module.

Registration: Registration is also available ONLINE and EAS invites you to register early and take advantage of the low costs being offered. Please consider joining EAS to get the member rate, as well as the numerous benefits that membership provides.
Registration costs will increase after May 15.

Plenary speakers: EAS is currently finalising our selection of invited plenary speakers, who will address topics including What is driving innovation? Mapping genomes - what impact for the sector? And Maximising impact of research The plenary speaker profiles will be online very shortly.

EAS General Assembly: The annual General Assembly of EAS will take place on August 10 after the sessions of that day.
