Government to Discuss Entry of Oysters to European Market06 March 2013
ARGENTINA - The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries will meet as part of a Oyster Bureau meeting in San Blas Bay on the 11-12 March to analyze the entry of oysters into the European market.
The meeting will discuss increasing diagnostic capacity and improving knowledge of the species, to expand the market for oysters as an export product.
The meeting will seek to coordinate activities related to the production and marketing of oysters, which are required for entry into the EU.
During the second day of the meeting, a training day for oyster producers will be discussed.
The training day should provide good management practices.
