Marine Harvest Sells Shares in Cermaq

NORWAY - Following its failure to acquire Cermaq, Marine Harvest has sold the majority of its shares in the company, retaining less than two per cent.

On Friday (21 June 2013), Marine Harvest sold a 3,326,940 shares in Cermaq at an average price of NOK105.33 per share.

As a consequence, Marine Harvest's shareholding of Cermaq was reduced below the five per cent disclosure threshold. Following the sale Marine Harvest holds 1,706,604 shares in Cermaq, representing 1.84 per cent of the outstanding shares.

This information is subject of the disclosure requirements pursuant to section 5-12 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
