The course will be held at the Courtyard Marriott Toronto Airport Hotel on September 11, 12 and 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) announced in late July.

Aspiring auditors, returning auditors requiring refresher training, producers, government officials and other industry observers are invited to attend.

The course will cover the finfish and crustacean farm standards for marine cages, salmon farm standards and mussel farm standards. It will be taught by BAP Vice President Lisa Goché, BAP Director of Quality Control Jeff Peterson and Cormac O’Sullivan, aquaculture manager for Global Trust.

Attendees will receive a concessionary guest room rate at the hotel. To receive this rate, attendees are asked to book their rooms directly with the hotel by August 11.

For the course schedule and more information, visit the BAP Auditor Course Information webpage. Please follow the instructions carefully. Improper submittals will be rejected. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible once a course has been scheduled, as participants are admitted on a space-available basis.
