BAP Auditor Course Set for October in Ecuador

ECUADOR - The Global Aquaculture Alliance has invited new auditor candidates, returning auditors requiring refresher training, producers, government officials and other industry observers to attend the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Auditor Training Course Finfish and Custacean Farms (All Components), Salmon Farms, Mussel Farms, Shrimp Hatcheries and Feed Mills in Guayaquil, Ecuador from October 22 to 26, 2013.

The course will teach all culture methods, including marine cage, land based ponds, fresh/brackish water cages, of the new BAP finfish and crustacean farm standards and the new BAP mussel farm standards, both of which were finalized this year. The BAP salmon farm standards will also be covered.

A venue for the course has not yet been selected.
