UK - Youngs Seafood Limited is launching its new The Funky Fish Kitchen brand encompassing 11 chilled fish products.

With eye catching packaging, the contemporary range is being launched as part of the company’s campaign to inspire more consumers to eat fish at least two times a week.

Available exclusively from the pre-packed chilled fish cabinet at Asda, the products give consumers quick, easy and versatile ways to include fish in their lunch and dinner occasions, and are available in a variety of mouth-watering flavours.

The Funky Fish Kitchen range aims to get consumers experimenting in their kitchens, having fun with fish and including more seafood in their diet. Tailored towards providing lunchtime solutions, the Lunch Pots and ready to eat Salmon fillets with dressings are ideal for adding to a sandwich or jacket potato, enjoying as a side with crusty bread, or mixing in with pasta, rice or salad.

Delicious dinner occasions can be achieved in less than six minutes with the ready to cook Smoked Haddock Fillets with Pea & Coriander Melt, and Salmon Fillets with Spring Onions, Chilli & Wasabi Butter in microwavable packaging, providing an easy solution to eating more fish. The versatility of the range means that all of the products including the ready to cook Cod Fillets with Tomato, Smoked Paprika & Garlic Dressing and the melt in the middle Fish Cakes can form the basis of a lunch or dinner occasion, and be accompanied by either hot or cold side dishes.

Commenting on the launch, Marina Richardson, Marketing Controller at Young’s Seafood Limited, said: “The Funky Fish Kitchen brings a new sense of fun to fish and seafood. The Funky Fish Kitchen will be available from Monday 9 September at special introductory prices and offers, and includes three Lunch Pots, two ready to eat Salmon products, four ready to cook products including two in microwavable packaging, and 2 melt in the middle Fishcakes.
