Marine Harvest Acquires Further Shares in Morpol

NORWAY - Marine Harvest ASA has purchased 7,734,185 further shares in Morpol ASA from Skagen Vekst at a price of NOK 11.85 per share.

Following this purchase, Marine Harvest holds 154,060,010 shares in Morpol, representing 91.7 per cent of all of Morpol's issued shares.

Marine Harvest will purchase any further shares in Morpol offered to it during the period from today (23 October) until 16.30 CET on Wednesday 6 November at the same price.

Any shareholder wishing to tender his shares to Marine Harvest on this basis can do so through DNB Markets (+47 241 692 22). Settlement will be provided on normal market terms, i.e. against delivery of the shares 3 days after the conclusion of the agreement.

Following the expiry of the above referred period, Marine Harvest intends to compulsory acquire the remaining shares in Morpol. The price offered in the compulsory acquisition will be the same as in the above referred offer, NOK 11.85.

Shareholders are recommended to accept the voluntary as this will ensure that they receive settlement in the short term.
