Mr Dominguez expressed his confidence that the Parliament will ratify the agreement, which is an improvement over the previous protocol, since the fishing opportunities for the EU fleet are increased.

The new protocol will return a hundred Spanish fishing vessels to Moroccan waters, mostly of traditional character, with more than 700 crew members, mainly from Andalusia and the Canary Islands.

The protocol has a term of four years, with an approximate 40 million for each of the four years of the agreement.
