Field testing the audit manual will help to further improve its use in practice. Terms of reference for these pilots will be available in January.
For each pilot a seriola/cobia farm and a certifier are needed. Farms and certifiers will share the costs for these pilots, which have proven to be a useful initial step towards the certification process later, as it will provide a good gap-analysis between farms’ current performance levels and the requirements in the ASC Seriola/Cobia Standard.
Pilots will take place between 1 March and 30 June 2014. Interested farms and certification bodies are kindly invited to register for the pilot at certification@asc-aqua.org. For additional questions please use the same email address.
