Government Finds No New Outbreaks of ISA

CHILE - No new cases of Infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA) have been detected during an advanced health campaign of farms located within a five mile radius of the latest ISA outbreak.

An ISA outbreak was reported on January 27, in the central part of Chiloe. In response, the government carried out testing of farms within five miles of the outbreak.

The testing found that no other outbreaks have been reported.

The National Director explained that during the harvest of the two affected cages, a third cage also tested positive for the virus. This third cage has now been harvested.
