SAGARPA Sets Olive Curvina Catch Quotas

MEXICO - The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) has set catch quotas for olive curvina in the waters of the Upper Gulf of California and Colorado River Delta, for the 2013-2014 season.

The agreement provides that the total catch per boat will be 5,728 kilograms for the fishing season.

This provides a total catch quota for the olive curvina fishery of 3,620 tons gutted weight.

Persons who violate or contravene the Agreement published in the DOF will be subject to penalties.
