Major exported products included oil products, electronics, telephone handsets, seafood (mainly shrimp), machinery, equipments, cashew nuts, furniture, timber products and footwear, reports VASEP.

Seafood exports to the market hit $19.58 million, up 31.5 per cent year on year.

Despite currently small export volume to Australia, exports from Viet Nam to the market pose a lot of potentiality thanks to geographic proximity.

Besides, the free trade agreement between Australia and ASEAN, including Viet Nam, will facilitate Viet Nam's exports to the market in the future.
