UK - Young’s Seafood Limited is building on the success of its The Funky Fish Kitchen by launching seven new chilled products as part of the range.
The Funky Fish Kitchen was launched exclusively in Asda in September 2013 to give consumers innovative, versatile ways to incorporate fish into their lunch and dinner mealtimes.
The seven new products are available exclusively in Asda from today (Monday 31 March) and provide consumers with even more mouth-watering flavours to choose from. The contemporary range in colourful, eye-catching packaging is part of Young’s Seafood Limited’s commitment to encourage consumers to eat fish twice a week, as well as boosting consumer confidence in cooking fish and trying different species of fish.
The new products include two Ready to Eat products, ideal for lunchtime with salad, crackers or a tasty roll. The Funky Fish Kitchen empowers consumers, especially those with busy lifestyles, to eat more fish through the microwaveable packaging that delivers a quick, flavoursome meal. The Ready to Cook products make delicious mealtime occasions and can be accompanied by either hold or cold side dishes. Consumers are encouraged to further expand their fish repertoire and taste buds with the new Trout Fillets with Lemon, & Mediterranean Herb Butter.
The seven new products launching in Asda today are:
Ready to Eat:
• 2 Honey Roast Salmon Fillets with a Sweet Mustard & Dill Dressing
• Smoked Salmon with a Zesty Lemon, Lime & Chilli Dressing
Ready to Cook:
• 2 Trout Fillets with Lemon, & Mediterranean Herb Butter (microwave packaging)
• 2 Cod Fillets in Cider, Roasted Shallot & Chive Beurre Blanc Sauce
• 2 Smoked Cod Fillets with a Sweet Red Pepper, Garlic & Chilli Butter (microwave packaging)
• 2 Cod Fillets with a Coconut, Tomato, Lime & Chilli sauce
• 2 Cod Fishcakes with a Cheese, Dill and Tarragon Sauce Centre
A further new product will also launch exclusively in Asda at the end of April. This single portion of Smoked Cod Fillet with a Sweet Red Pepper, Garlic & Chilli Butter in microwavable packaging aims to make eating fish even more convenient and easy for consumers.
