Headquartered in Tuscany, Manno processes and deals wholesale fresh seafood for the national market.

Deep-water rose shrimps stocks targeted by Manno were found to be not overexploited and fishing gears met all Friend of the Sea criteria. Shrimps are not fished on protected areas, discard rate is negligible, and waste management procedures are in place in order to reduce the environmental impact of the fishery.

The traceability system, including GPS and Internet technology, allows to trace the fishing and location assuring no mixing between certified and not-certified products.

“We’re deeply engaged in protecting the marine ecosystem" explains Mr. Maurizio Manno, President of F.lli Manno. "Being part of Friend of the Sea further recognizes F.lli Manno’s efforts in this sense.”
