Upper North Shore Closed Area for Shellfish Harvesting

CANADA - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec, has closed off the Upper North Shore for shellfish harvesting because of toxicity.

The authorities have issued a prohibition order under subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations.

The area closed to the public is Upper North-Shore, Iles Penchées (N-02.2) from Pointe à Georges-Morneau to a point in front of îlets Boisés.
