Best Aquaculture Practice Auditor Course Set For US in January

US - The Global Aquaculture Alliance invites new auditor candidates, returning auditors requiring refresher training, producers, government officials and other industry observers to attend a Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Auditor Training Course in Ann Arbor, Michigan, US, from January 11 to 17, 2015.

The course will cover all of the BAP standards — the seafood processing plant standards, finfish and crustacean farm standards (including land-based ponds and fresh/brackish water cage culture), salmon and marine-cage farm standards, mussel farm standards, feed mill standard, and the new (multi-species) finfish, crustacean and mollusk hatchery/nursery standards just launched.

The registration deadline is 23 December, 2014.

Improper submittals will be rejected. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible once a course has been scheduled, as participants are admitted on a space-available basis. Payment for the course must be received in advance.
