For that, the guide, which is available in Portuguese, Spanish an English, will be distributed to more than 4,000 Portuguese restaurants all over the country.

The illustrated document includes for each of the 29 species presented – that go from fish and cephalopods to molluscs and crustaceans - a brief description of their morphology, geographic distribution, habitat, migratory behaviour, type of feeding and breeding strategies.

It also describes the methods used by the Portuguese fishing fleet to catch each species.
