Sernapesca Investigating Suspected ISA Cases in Aysn

CHILE - Sernapesca has reported the detection of a suspected case of Infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA) virus in central Ballena IV, owned by the company Cupquelan Salmon SA, located in the southern part of the Aysn region.

The company was notified yesterday after detecting the virus variant HPR3 during routine sampling carried out under the Specific Programme Health Surveillance and Control of Infectious Salmon Anemia keeps Sernapesca.

Preventive measures are in place to restrict movements and conduct surveillance inspections on the affected area and the center.
