Print This Page Chile's mussel exhibition launched
CHILE - For the second year running, Chile’s international mussel exhibition, Expomytilus 2006, will take place in Castro, on Chiloé Island.This year's show will run between November 30 and December 2. The first show last year was a big success.Mónica Sanzana, producer and public relations manager, said: “In the first version, being our first appearance on the world market, many companies decided to exhibit in our booths with the sole purpose of being present with their brand so as to meet with their current customers and to contact new ones.
Nevertheless, to the great surprise of all exhibitors, these aquaculture industry suppliers did extremely good business, discovering that in Chiloé Island’s capital city they had a very promising business meeting-place, much closer to their customers, so they have all – without exception – decided to exhibit once again in this coming version, many with much larger booths.
