A study published recently in the journal Fisheries concludes that "there is no evidence of ISA in US populations of free-ranging or marine-farmed salmonids on the west coast of North America."

This backs up research published earlier this year by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, which concluded based on more than 8,000 tests that the virus is absent from BC waters.
