The suspected outbreak is at sea site 30737.

"To prevent the spread of infection, movement restrictions have been imposed," said senior inspector Erna Summer Haug at the district office for Vesterålen.

The Veterinary Institute alerted the Food Safety Authority of the suspected ISA case on the basis of positive laboratory findings for ISA. FSA has taken out new samples that are sent to the Institute for eventual verification of the disease.
