Viral Haemorrhagic Septicaemia Reported in Croatian Trout

CROATIA - An outbreak of viral haemorrhagic septicaemia (VHS) has been detected in Donja Suvaja, Gracac, Zadarska.

VHS was reported on a freshwater semi-closed farm where it effected brown and rainbow trout.

The total number effected is not known but around 18,650 fish were susceptible.

The source of the outbreak is unknown.
