Print This Page US selects Vietnamese exporters for anti-dumping tariffs review
VIETNAM - The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has chosen three Vietnamese shrimp exporters at random for a review of anti-dumping tariffs against them, Vietnam’s fisheries ministry said. These included Amanda Foods, Phuong Nam, and Fimex. The DOC would send questionnaires to the exporters and a mission to check documents at the companies.
It would consider Vietnamese exporters’ prices in the last one year as compared with the prices when they first exported shrimp to the US.
Given the survey results, the DOC would scrap the anti-dumping duty if it was established an enterprise did not dump.
It would also determine average tariffs on other Vietnamese enterprises that exported shrimp to the US.
