Diversified Communications' Mary Larkin Joins Aquaculture Without Frontiers

GLOBAL - Mary Larkin, Executive Vice President of Diversified Communications, has joined the Aquaculture without Frontiers (AwF) Board of Directors.

AwF Executive Director, Roy Palmer,spoke of the appointment, saying: “We are absolutely thrilled.“

Ms Larkin joined Diversified in 1995, has been involved with the seafood industry since early 1996 and continues to oversee Seafood Expo North America in Boston and the world’s largest seafood event in Brussels – Seafood Expo Global.

She has held the role of Vice President since 2004 and was recently promoted to Executive Vice President of US operations.

“Mary has a massive role as Executive Vice President, overseeing Diversified Communications’ US operations as well as the international portfolio of seafood tradeshows and conferences, online reporting and the Integrative Healthcare portfolio. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the National Fisheries Institute and, more recently, on the Board for Seafood Industry Research Fund (SIRF). Mary has also recently joined the Board for the Center for Grieving Children in Portland, Maine," said Mr Palmer.

Aquaculture without Frontiers is the seafood industry’s only global independent volunteer charity and Ms Larkin's impressive credentials and work ethic will add enormous value to our industry knowledge and experience.

Ms Larkin's leadership in the growth of Diversified Communications and in the promotion of seafood should not be underestimated. Her understanding of all of the intricacies of communications, organisation and dealing with people from all countries will be invaluable in AwF’s future planning.

Ms larkin joins John Forster, Cormac O’Sullivan, Gorjan Nikolik, Dave Conley and Roy Palmer on the AwF Board.
