Speaking to Lucy Towers at Aquaculture 2016 in Las Vegas, USA, Sean Phaler, Digital Marketing Manager, for Pentair Aquatic Eco-Systems, explained the new interactive website and gave TheFishSite a demonstration of some of the websites' features and how it can help fish farmers and investors.

The PAES W.A.T.E.R. (World Aquaculture Technology Engineering & Research) website, PAESWATER.com, is designed to provide the user with a fully interactive experience of the 12,400 square foot facility in Apopka, Florida, as if they were there in person, including an enhanced navigated path tour, featuring 39 “product hotspots.”

Each hotspot focuses on a specific piece of equipment integral to the functionality of the five separate recirculating aquaculture systems in the facility.

Viewers have the ability to learn more about each product, view photo galleries, watch explanatory videos and contact the PAES team of technicians if they need more information.

Additional highlights of the website include the ability to access live streaming cameras with views of fish in the multiple systems - see video below.

The video connectivity component will also be host to future live events and educational demonstrations. With research and education as the focus of this facility, the website will also provide visitors real-time information from the monitoring systems, including Dissolved Oxygen, ORP, Conductivity, pH and Temperature statistics.
