NORWAY - “If you don’t keep the quality of the fish – you’re failing!” says Jan Roger Lerbukt, CEO of Norwegian fishing company Hermes.
In the third video in the series about life on onboard Hermes, the Espersen supplier shows the process from when the fish is hauled on board, gutted, washed, packaged and marked with barcode labels containing information about when and where the fish was caught.
Mr Lerbukt said: “Trying to be at the forefront of evolving the fisheries into the future – that makes me proud everyday”.
Alex Olsen, Head of Sustainability at Espersen, explained why they have chosen to showcase Hermes in this way: “Our goal is to be a trusted and efficient producer, showing our customers that we work with fishermen dedicated to quality and sustainability helps us reach that goal.”
