UK - Anglesey Aquaculture Limited, Europes largest marine recirculating aquaculture facility, is now seeking new investment.

The modern farm is one of the most advanced fish farming systems in the world, which historically produced high quality award winning sea bass, desired by premium retailers including Waitrose and Whole Foods.

With an annual production capacity of 800 tons and sited in a prime location to exploit the UK and European markets, this warm-water aquaculture system has eradicated many of the operational scale-up teething issues that cause similar facilities to fail.

The facility therefore provides an excellent fast-track business opportunity in the rapidly-expanding aquaculture sector and is suitable for farming a variety of species including sea bass, yellowtail, barramundi, cobia or halibut.

The site is fully equipped with a long-term lease, power contracts and an experienced team. The site also recently underwent extensive improvements to oxygenation infrastructure and effluent discharge systems.

The farm houses eight large custom-built tanks (750 m3 capacity) which have direct sea water supply, with an environmentally friendly reed-bed purification system for water off take before returning used water to the sea.

The high-tech International Aqua-Tech (IAT) life-support systems at the farm have been shown to support rearing densities up to 60kg/m3 and industry-leading water clarity.

The site also offers an extensive area for future expansion.
